All the hard work that they’ve put in for the past few years, from serving awesome coffee and Japanese fusion food to careful bean roasting, participation in barista championship with great accomplishment, sharing of latte art love, etc.. – deserved a laud applause. Congratulations to their latest achievement in Malaysia Barista Championship 2022! Head trainer Nicky will be representing Malaysia for 2022 World Latte Art Championship. All the best! And what’s more, moving to a new milestone with brand new look to 103 Coffee Workshop.
The cafe is expanding into a two-floors dining space. While the ground floor is still under renovation (*as of June 2022), the first floor is all ready to serve, welcoming diners with a thoughtfully designed, spacious, blood orange modern contemporary interior. Further adorned with green plants, curved concrete walls and matching furnishing that sum up to an inviting, relaxing yet with energetic vibes.
“Off to 4 countries” and explore their creative city croissants, namely New York, Ho Chi Minh, Tokyo, London. Oh how we miss these beautiful places. Nevermind, indulge into themed-croissant that take inspiration from the city’s signature food first, till we get to visit them again.
HoChi Minh– freshly baked mini croissant, refreshing carrot & coriander slaw, jumbo pork brawurst, lime; Tokyo – freshly baked mini croissant, fluffy scrambled eggs unagi bits, bonito flakes, Japanese seaweed; New York – freshly baled mini croissant, cheese and herb chicken Frankfurt, US style mustard mayo, tomato and gherkin relish signature homemade ketchup; London – freshly baked mini croissant, fluffy scrambled eggs, caramelize onions, feta cheese, crispy basons, balsamic glaze.
Other than croissant, Breakfast & Brunch menu are available too. Small selections, to kick start the day right, with a cup of coffee. Tosuto & Eggs that we ordered during our first visit. Stacks of homemade Japanese toast, traditional South East kaya, unsalted butter, 2 organic country eggs. El Omelet De Salmon that put together cheesy omelette with salmon, espanol romesco sauce, crunchy cherry tomato, cashew nut, wild rocket, feta cheese, toast of the day looks delicious too. Maybe can try next round.
For coffee, you will not go wrong with their House Latte that features Irvine Quek’s award-winning coffee. Signature Coffee like Cola No Cola – a concoction of espressos, calamansi, lemongrass, cinnamon, lemon juice, tonic water; are highly recommended too.
