Back to The Westin Kuala Lumpur for a 2D1N staycation! Service is still awesome as usual, and we tried out some new items from The Living Room’s buffet dinner and afternoon tea!
Have been really busy with daytime commitment recently, and yet to travel out from the country. So we decided to have a short staycation over the long weekend last week at The Westin Kuala Lumpur Hotel – for a “Play, Eat, Sleep, Work, Move and Feel Well” rejuvenating stay.
The Westin Kuala Lumpur has always been a popular accommodation choice, be if for locals, corporates and tourists. Strategic location within the KL’s Golden Triangle, with MRT Bukit Bintang station located just 5 minutes walk away, surrounded by luxury shopping malls including Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Starhill Gallery, Lot 10 and more. Not to forget, a wide variety of food options – a must while travelling.
For dining, The Westin Kuala Lumpur offers local and international fare at The Living Room All-day-dining Restaurant ; fine wines, premium liquors and artisan cocktails at 443 Bar & Coffee Lounge; crafted drinks and light bites at Splash Poolside Restaurant and Bar.

Salt water pool with no chlorine – also one of the highlights of The Westin Kuala Lumpur’s facility.
Chill & Relax at The Westin Club Lounge
As it was approaching 6PM after a walk around the hotel, we went to The Westin Club Lounge for evening cocktails and hors d oeuvre/snacks, which are served from 6PM until 8PM. Enjoy beer & wines along with snacks from the counter, such as cheese, fruits, desserts, mushroom soup, and selected Asian delicacies.

Breakfast buffet, The Living Room
Rise & Shine. Back to The Living Room for buffet breakfast. Summergirl is a person who loves hotel buffet breakfast, for no reason. So skipping is a big no no to her, especially in a reputable 5-star hotel. This is our first time trying out their breakfast buffet and wow, the spread here doesn’t disappoint. Plenty of choices, something for everyone. Filled our plate with sausages, hash brown, salad, chicken loaf, cheese tomato and make our very own hearty big breakfast. Added omelette, sunny side up, or scramble eggs – cooked upon order, at Egg Station.
The drinks corner is worth a mention. You can have freshly squeeze juices here – orange, watermelon, carrot + turmeric, celery + cucumber, as well as strawberry smoothie, bluebeery smoothie. Probably the busiest counter, as the staff is seen non-stop replenishing the juices. We help ourselves few rounds on this too. Soo good. Indian station is our favourite station too. Roti Canai, vadai, samosa, thosai, paratha are all delicious.
Westin Afternoon Tea, The Living Room
The Westin Hotel Kuala Lumpur has also just launched the newly engineered Westin Afternoon Tea, with fresh menu and ingredients. Price is affordable too, at RM128nett for 2 persons sharing. Available daily at The Living Room, 10.30AM – 9.30PM.
