“Have you tried an espresso coffee before? ” – Come check it out at Bean Brothers #BBBB An Espresso Bar, at eslite The Starhill KL.
We have always been a fan of Bean Brothers, not only for their excellent coffee but also the cafe’s interior design that makes enjoying a cup of coffee and hearty meal there a worthwhile experience.
Founded in 2009 as a specialty coffee subscription service, through which the establishment put together a panel of competition baristas, judges and experienced coffee roasters to introduce the new global coffee movement to the people. They have expanded from a specialty coffee roastery to 10 stores internationally till date, with a team of 80 baristas and still counting.
Bean Brothers roastery now sources a vast array of coffee varieties from around the world and serve in their stores, besides doing wholesale to businesses and other cafes. For Bean Brothers Malaysia, apart from Bean Brothers at The Linc KL and Bean Brothers Sunway Damansara PJ, you can now get a taste of coffee beyond the usual long black and lattes – at the all new Bean Brothers Bukit Bintang, located within eslite Starhill.
Different from the two outlets in The Linc KL and Sunway Damansara PJ, Bean Brothers Bukit Bintang is delighted to introduce classic ESPRESSO menu staying true to the bold recipes that have been around for the past 100 years. It is an espresso bar, where you can enjoy espresso brewed over ice, espresso topped with chocolate, espresso topped with milk foam, espresso topped with sugar & glazed mandarin orange, ice shaken espresso with honey & lemon, and the list goes on.
Bean Brothers Bukit Bintang is located at a rather hidden corner of The Starhill KL. You can visit through the entrance on the right side of the escalator going to eslite spectrum; or walk further down the alley pass the main entrance of The Starhill KL, opposite to Xiao Long Kan Hotpot. Either side, you will be greeted with a sleek, cool design combining modern, sophisticated and comfortable elements. Very nice project.
According to the staff, popular favourites on the menu are Espresso Con Panna (RM9.50) – espresso topped with whipped cream, giving it sweetness and creamier mouthfeel espresso; and Espresso Shakerato (RM9.50)- iced shaken espresso with honey and lemon for velvety texture, refreshing btitter-sweet flavours. We went for these two as recommended, and really enjoyed both.
Of course, you can still get the usual black, white, mocha, chocolate, genmaicha, and some other beverages. We personally enjoyed our espresso coffee at Bean Brothers Bukit Bintang, and can’t wait to return soon for other variations.
