Banquet of Hoshena – the famous multi-sensory 3D immersive dining experience is now at Graze, Hilton Kuala Lumpur, available only for a limited time.
Le Petit Chef at Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur is our first immersive theatre and dining experience, a memorable 90-minute culinary journey that offers multisensory wonderment as we were taken to explore the cultures and food from various regions, following the guidance of world’s smallest chef.
Fast forward to this year, in 2023, we are glad to be able to check out another innovative themed dining concept – Banquet of Hoshena, at Graze, Hilton Kuala Lumpur. The hotel is also the first restaurant in Asia Pacific to host the Banquet of Hoshena.
Available only for a limited time, Banquet of Hoshena at Graze, Hilton Kuala Lumpur promises to be an illusionary feast for the senses – where visual storytelling, flavors and feelings intertwine; where Kings & Queens, fairies and volcanoes come alive on the table.
Once seated and after the lights dim, we were transported to an imaginative land named Hoshena. The Queen of Hoshena told story about a once-green and luscious kingdom that has banished bad emotions, such as anger, sadness and fear and as a result, removed love, happiness and courage leaving the land bare, dark and empty.
At the end of each chapter, we were served with thoughtfully crafted dish that represents a unique emotion, such as anger, sadness, etc.., which blend seamlessly to the storyline. Accompanying the menu are clever props, sounds, illusions and scents for a more interactive experience, such as whispering fears into an enchanted pouch, ignite a magical candle to symbolize transformation, and being mystified by the mesmerizing effects of dry ice.
There are 4 menu available for Banquet of Hoshena at Hilton KL, namely Premium Menu, Hoshena Menu, Vegetarian Menu, and Junior Menu. We had the Hoshena Menu. Australian Black Angus Medallion with Chef Special Crust, Carrots, Mash Potato is our top favourite. Sous-vide, very tender. If you are wondering if you would be full after all the courses, our answer is big yes. In fact, portion for main courses are generous, with hearty sides. We were already full after finishing the beef course, and there was Pan Seared Black Cod after that, before ended with Sfere di Tiramisu as sweet dessert.

Overall, we enjoyed this unique session that centers around cutting edge 3D visual technology, image mapping, experiential props and also effective storytelling through flavours, ingredients, sights, sounds and tastes. Not to forget, awesome dishes by esteemed chefs from Graze, Hilton Kuala Lumpur.
We were told that other than standard lunch and dinner dining, special hosting is available too, such as surprises for birthday, anniversary, proposal, etc..
