Sushinosuke Omakase – one of the top budget-friendly omakase in Shimashi, Tokyo Japan has arrived in Malaysia!
Lost count on the new omakase restaurants opened in KL recently, but there’s one that we would like to recommend- Sushinosuke Omakase located in Pinnacle Petaling Jaya, next to Sheraton Hotel Petaling Jaya.
Hailed from Shinmashi, Sushinosuke is rated as one of the top budget-friendly omakase in Tokyo, Japan. With a team of Japanese culinary master at its helm, Sushinosuke brings a touch of Tokyo’s gastronomic charm to Kuala Lumpur, promising an extraordinary omakase journey that tantalizes the taste buds, at affordable price.
The 16-seaters, counter-style dining space reflects a harmonious fusion of warmth tone and contemporary design; plenty of wooden elements; comfortable lighting – inviting diners to savor not only the exquisite dishes, but also the opportunity to watch chef at work over the counter, while having some interactive chat.
And yes, as the tagline implies, Sushinosuke highlight fun, casual dinner in a fashionable way. Chef and staffs are awesome people, nice and friendly, Don’t have to wear a night gown to dine here, dress code not needed. But we don’t mind dress up to dine here!
We like how the chef put together high quality ingredients in a way that pays homage to Japanese culinary traditions; classic, casual, yet with a touch of modernity. Not to forget, with chef’s very own creativity. No fancy plating, but real good stuff in every bite. Besides lovely sushi, we especially enjoy the young ginger, daifuku, ika inro, tuna cheek and the signature Sushinosuke Rice bowl brimming with ikura and uni!
What truly sets Sushinosuke apart is its affordability. Price is RM388++ for 20 dishes, probably one of the most affordable omakase dinner in PJ.
Right now Sushinosuke Omakase opens only for dinner but in future, they might extend the business hours and cater for lunch too. Was told that they will be having price-worthy set lunch! Can’t wait to return and check out more.
