Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s first Kimpton hotel, welcomes its inaugural Mid-Autumn Festival with the bold launch of Celestial Duality 星月之境, a vibrant mooncake collection is now available for pre-order. Born from the spirit of connection and inspired by the harmony of contrasts, the collection moves beyond convention, reimagining Mid-Autumn gifting through a stylish, contemporary lens while honouring the timeless tradition of reunion.
The collection takes its cue from the moon itself, with a magnetic keepsake case built from two distinct halves, each with its own character. One is textured and rugged, echoing the moon’s cratered surface; the other unfurls in smooth, sweeping curves, tracing the way moonlight drifts across a night sky. The case, when brought together, unite into one elegant briefcase-inspired form that symbolises the coming together of family, friends and loved ones beneath a shared moon – celebrating reunion through thoughtful design and meaningful connection.
“Mid-Autumn Festival has always been about people finding their way back to one another, however different their journeys might have been throughout the year, and that idea of contrast finding common ground is really what our Celestial Duality collection is about. That same instinct for pairing unique items carries through to what is inside. Handcrafted baked mooncakes, spanning both nostalgic classics and more contemporary creations, are presented alongside a curation of locally roasted coffee, extending the gesture of gifting well beyond the festival table and into quieter, everyday moments shared between family, friends and colleagues.
The collection is presented as a single, complete keepsake priced at RM248 nett, bringing together all four signature mooncake flavours alongside merchandise from two of Malaysia’s local coffee roasters – four coffee capsules by Curate Coffee and four coffee drip bags by Ghostbird Coffee, making it a natural centrepiece for family reunions or corporate gifting.
Flavours range from the familiar to the pleasantly unexpected, with Classic Red Bean and White Lotus with Single Yolk sitting comfortably alongside Golden Starlight (with lotus seed paste, mung bean paste and pandan) and a more adventurous Momoyama Black Tea with Mung Bean. Early Bird pricing rewards those who plan ahead: guests enjoy 15% off orders placed from now till 31 August 2026.
Celestial Duality 星月之境 will be available for self-collection at Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur by 21 August 2026, with delivery available for orders of 20 boxes and above. Complimentary delivery applies within the TRX district for orders of 20 to 49 boxes, between the hotel and the KLCC area for orders of 50 to 99 boxes, and within Klang Valley for orders of 100 boxes and above, with all deliveries subject to a single drop-off location.
