A Little Bud Florist Cafe, TTDI

Penang Hokkien Mee and Char Koay Teow at New Yong Len Restaurant TTDI, followed by a laid-back, relaxed coffee session at A Little Bud Florist Cafe – a weekend morning can never be better than this.

While this area in TTDI is more famous for medium and above-average dining like fine dining at DC French Restaurant, LUT Gastro Bar, Porto Romano, Ficus Bistro, Cassis KL, etc., the opening of A Little Bud Florist Cafe is a nice addition to the F&B scene along the street, offering a cozy, earthy-tone setting for coffee, artisan fruit tea, home-baked pies, cakes, breads, pastries during daytime.

A Little Bud Cafe is located just 2 minutes walk from Yong Len Kopitiam. Hence having them both when you are in TTDI seem to be a nice idea. At least that is what we did. Sisters Place is another good option too, if you are looking for nice local delicacies. Walking in to A Little Bud Cafe made us felt like we were back to Bali, minus the tropical swimming pool. LOL.

Contemporary boho- style elements with wooden pieces, grainy cement wall, vases, along with structure, framing and decorative in matching river rock palatte – which is getting rather popular nowadays. Very beautiful, minimal yet in style.

It looks like a small cafe at the first glance, with a spacious counter occupying most of the space. But as we walked around, we realized it isn’t. The cafe is further extended to have a sun-filled, semi-outdoor area; as well as a “semi-hidden” corner behind the archway. A rather thoughtful arrangement. Great for diners who prefer more privacy. If you want to have small family gathering, or birthday party – this corner would be the best place.

As A Little Bud is also a boutique florist specializes in designer flower arrangements, you will see a lot of dried flowers around, and some proudly incorporated with charcoals. Another pretty touch that complete the look of the entire cafe.

For food, a menu of light bites such as Apple Turnover, Croissant with Butter & Homemade Kaya, Premium Chocolate Moist Cake, Lemon Poppy Seed Cake, Premium Chocolate Tart, Pizza Twist, Chicken Mushroom Pie, Australian Chunky Steak Pie, Healthy Shredded Chicken Salad with House Dressing are available. Sweet tooth would be please with homemade desserts including Matcha Burnt Cheesecake, Yuzu Burnt Cheesecake, Premium Dark Chocolate Tart, Premium Chocolate Olive Oil Cake, Russian Honey Original Cake, Russian Honey Original Cake, Lemon Poppy Seed Cake.

Other than the usual black and white, you can have Latte with Gula Melaka, Iced Americano with Fresh Coconut Water; or go for A Little Bud’s Signature Drinks concocted with more creative ingredients – Soda, Lemonade, Espresso; Yakult, Lychee, Asam Boi; Nutmeg Juice, Soda, Dried Nutmeg Slices; Yuzu, Soda, Lychee, Yakult, Lychee, Scoop of Mango Gelato; Iced Matcha with Fresh Coconut Water; Iced Matcha with Soda & Asam Boi. Healthy Dried Fruit Tea seems worth trying too, with a choice of Dragon Fruit & Pineappl; Pineapple, Lime & Ginger; Orange, Pineapple & Dragon Fruit; Lemongrass, Pandan & Pineapple.

Service is friendly. We love the ambience with home comfort, and the design too of course.
