Previously located in Menara Bangsar Condominum, WTF Restaurant has shifted into a new lot along Jalan Maarof with a brand new storefront this year, but maintaining good quality of food prepared using fresh, healthy ingredients.

WTF Restaurant, the quirky abbreviation for What Tasty Food Restaurant, a name which has concluded clearly what the restaurant wish to deliver to all diners- TASTY food. Arms with modern contemporary design and interior painted in bold colours, WTF can be mistakenly thought as a restaurant specializes in Western delights. Correct for the partial.

However, WTF is actually an all vegetarian restaurant with extensive menu covers mostly on traditional Indian vegetarian delicacies, yet at the same time highlighting international cuisines that surprise your tastebud, such as pasta, sandwich, Indo-Chinese fried rice, and more.

Creamy Carbonara Pasta RM18.00
A very creamy, rich and cheesy carbonara sauce thickly drenched over a bed of penne together with broccoli, peppers and mushroom. Memorable, or to say, we were surprised to get such a decent pasta in vegetarian restaurant. In fact, tasted much better than some Western restaurants.

Tandoori Platter RM14.00
A hearty plate of garden fresh vegetables- aalu (baby potatoes), gobi (cauliflower), paneer (cottage cheese), peppers and tomatoes baked in traditional tandoor and served with a variety of chutneys. We liked how these vegetables are brushed with aromatic herbs and spices, enticing the tastebud with smoky, salty and smoky sensation, like eating BBQ chips & snacks. Who says vegetables taste boring?

Dahi Ke Sholay
One of our favourite starters. Cones of bread deep fried to golden brown, pipping hot, crispy outside, fluffy soft inside; then thickly slathered with temperature contrast filling- cold, creamy chilled yoghurt seasoned in herbs and spices.

Tandoori Paneer Wrap RM14.00
Chef’s special, envelops cottage cheese spiced up with herbs and spices, slow baked in tandoor in warm tortilla. Served with corriander chutney.

Momos
Very similar to our Chinese dumpling, just thicker in skin and replacing the usual filling with vegetables, but do not compromise in taste. Each dumpling is brimming with chopped spinach, juicy and flavours level up with a dipping of red or green coloured sauce served along.

Paani Puri (RM8.00/7pcs)
Paani Puri is also known as puchka or gal gappas, one of the popular street foor in India. To eat it, fil the crispy shells with potato and bean mixture, topped with sweet tamarind chutney and dunked in spicy mint water. Pop it into mouth and experience the sourish, spicy burst in mouth.

Garlic Naan (RM5.00), Aalu Gobi (RM12.00), Paalak Paneer (RM14.00)
We don’t think any gravy is needed to deck up the taste of this basket of fresh, fluffy Garlic Naan with dinstinct aroma of garlic, but Aalu Gobi and Paalak Panner serve as a good choice for those who wish to add some healthy flavours while munching this Indian staple.

Tava Masala (RM30.00)
Tava Masala, a generous portion of full size meal with rice, bread, mixed vegetables, paneer gravy, roasted potatoes, and vegetable cutlet served over sizzling pan. Ideal for two, unless you are having a big appetite.

Pav Bhaji (RM12.00)
A melange of mashed vegetables roasted in butter and a blend of spices special for this dish, best to go with WTF homemade and preservative free buns.

Afghni Paner Surprise (RM12.00)
Cottage cheese, cheddar cheese and potatoes marinated in WTF spices, all assembled into round ball shape, coated with batter and deep fried. Light crisp at the edge with firm, chewy filling, almost like eating beancurd.

Corn Cheese Tikki (RM9.00)
Corn, potatoes and cheese moulded into round balls, then deep fried. Non-cheese version of Corn Tikki (RM6.00) is also available.

Jalebi
We seldom ventured into Indian sweet treat but we were more than happy to try out Jalebi freshly made at WTF restaurant. Flour, water and saffron are the essential ingredients, deep fried in ghee, garnished with almond flakes. Crispy and pleasantly sweet at the first few munch, but becomes overly sweet after taking in three.
