Bricks Coffee @ The Place, Damansara Perdana

August 2, 2013 by summerkid_summergirl

Bricks Coffee, another new coffee place to venture into. Located at The Place, Damansara Perdana, this coffee place seems to be quite hidden compare to other famous coffee chains, but definitely worth a visit if you are seeking for a place which is tranquil, peace, with no disturb to spend your morning or afternoon coffee.

Bricks and wood made up the main elements in Bricks Coffee, from the wall to tables, chairs and coffee counter. The whole interior isn’t big, but comfy enough to make you feel like home. One can choose to sit either indoor, or outdoor, both areas are as comfortable that you will want to stay longer, lay back and enjoy the coffee.

Affogato (RM12.00)
Salted caramel ice cream from Forty Licks poured over with a dose of espresso, a well balance of sweet caramelized flavour from sugar, saltiness from sea salt and milkiness of ice cream match perfectly with the bitterness from espresso.

Apart from coffee, Bricks also provide tea from Tea Pigs, an award winning famous brand from UK. Drenched a bag of tea into the cup and wait to enjoy the sips of aromatic, soothing tea.

Red Velvet Cake (RM10.00)
Coffee and tea are meant to go with a piece of good cake, always. Bricks Coffee serves cake too, not extensive in variety but good in quality. Try their Red Velvet Cake. Vibrant red colour, the cake looks inviting, and tastes good as well. Very moist with a layer of buttery cream cheese frosting.

Carrot Cake (RM6.00)

Homey flavour with lots of nuts within the moist, dense carrot cake.Grab the whole piece for yourself, and is enough to make you feel full.

Lemon Cheese (RM10.00)
Other than Red Velvet, we do recommend their Lemon Cheese too. Creamy, medium soft with extra smooth texture that almost melt in the mouth.

In short, Bricks Coffee may fall short of advantage in terms of location, but the owner’s passion and love towards coffee will definitely bring them more loyal customers, who love the peaceful environment and the good coffee of the place.
