Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant四川豆花飯莊 at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur welcomes 2015 Chinese New Year with a variety of Chinese New Year Set Menus and creative Yee Sang, starting from 5th February 2015 till 5th March 2015.

Fried Rice with Black Mushroom, Lotus Seed and Smoked Duck 香菇蓮子熏鴨扣飯
With the theme ” A Reunion to Relish & Remember at PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur”, Chef Foong Koon Sang and his talented team will put together a selection of dishes crafted specially for diners’ reunion with familiers, friends, colleagues and clients.

BBQ Lamb Yee Sang 蜜汁羊肉魚生 (RM98 half, RM148 full)
Paying tribute to the Year of Goat, Si Chuan Dou Hua PARKROYAL Kuala Lumpur churns out “Barbeque Lamb Yee Sang”, adding chewy, tender munch of BBQ lamb slices within a plethora of crispiness and juiciness from Yee Sang ingredients. The Lamb Yee Sang is priced at RM98nett for half portion, RM148nett for full portion.

For diners who are not into BBQ Lamb Yee Sang, Si Chuan Dou Hua has prepared another seven types of Yee Sang to choose from, namely:

Steamed Village Chicken with Dried Seafod and Chinese Herbs 海味當歸蒸菜園雞
CNY Set Menu from Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant is thoughtfully designed, separated into 10 sets which is ideal for diners from 2pax to 10pax. For instance, Sweet Prosperity covers 7 courses, priced at RM158nett per table for 2 persons. If you are here in a group of 4 persons, you can opt for Auspicious Blessing priced at RM488 nett per table, total 8 dishes.

Steamed Nian Gao with Crispy Oat 麥香白年糕
Table of 6 persons is suggested to have Blissful Happiness, 8 dishes priced at RM688nett. There are 6 choices for 2015 CNY Set Menu (10pax), priced from RM1188(vegetarian), RM1288(non-vegetarian) till RM2188 (non-vegetarian).

Double-boiled Shark’s Fin Soup with Prawns and Fresh Scallop 黃燜湯燴海中寳翅
We sampled few highlight dishes from the Set Menu, and have to say that the quality of Si Chuan Dou Hua never disappoint us. Taste of food is always up to expectation with innovative touch, be it menu for Dim Sum Feast, Mooncake Festival, Chinese New Year or any special occasion.

Stir Fried Large Prawns with Egg White 陽春白雪蝦球
One of our favourite dishes in Si Chuan Dou Hua PARKROYAL KL goes to Stir Fried Large Prawns with Egg White. Fresh, bouncy prawns stir fried with egg white, resulting in flavours that blend in pleasant stickiness, chewiness and creaminess, albeit a bit oily. Take a large scoop and wrap them within green lettuce for a crisp, refreshing balance.

Braised Seasonal Vegetables, Beancurd, and Dried Oyster with Pumpkin Puree 蠔士髮菜日月蔬
A sweet and savoury combination that turns a vegetable dish into whole new level. We love the pumpkin puree- cooked till fork tender, dressed with flavourful sauce. Have it with beancurd and experience the honey-sweet, creamy, soft, melt-in-mouth concoction from both.

Chilled Mango Soup with Pomelo & Sago 楊枝甘露
Complete the meal with Si Chuan Dou Hua Signature Beancurd Soup, Sweetened Water Chestnut, Chilled Honeydew Soup, Sweetened Lily Bulbs with White Fungus and Aloe Vera or Chilled Mango Soup with Pomelo & Sago, depends on the choice of menu.

Anticipating the Lunar New Year, Chef Foong also comes out with two “Poon Choy” set menus which will be accompanied by 6 main courses including “Barbeque Lamb Yee Sang”. The sets are priced at RM398 nett for 2-5 pax, RM988nett for 6-10 pax, commencing from 1st Jan 2015 till 17th Feb 2015.
