Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel weekend high tea buffet is ready to serve!
Prides as the new golden iconic building in PJ, Sheraton Petaling Jaya sets to provide not only new and comfortable hotel stay experience, but also sumptuous dining at their restaurants – Feast all-day-dining restaurant, Yue Chinese Restaurant and Miyabi Japanese Restaurant.
Visited FEAST for their newly launched weekend afternoon high tea buffet last week, and was quite surprised with the wide spread at just the price of RM88.
It covers a bit of everything from Western delights to Chinese, Japanese, Malay, Indian delicacies; as well as our local favourites. Not to forget, an array of luscious desserts.
Look at the spread of desserts lining up near to the entrance! Enough to lure us to start from the sweet!
Love the spacious, modernly designed dining space. High ceilings, semi-opened kitchen and interior incorporated with earthy tone for warmth, natural atmosphere, along with marble walls to add an exquisite, luxury touch to the overall ambience.
Take your plate and get ready to indulge in as much as you can!
Highlights of all – Seafood on Ice. Get your seafood craving fix with mussels, Tiger prawns, scallops and mini lobster.
Continued with our favourite section, the Asian counter that lined up with delicious sweet and sour fish, salted egg yolk chicken, double boiled chicken soup, chicken rice, fried rice, steamed lokam clam, fried oyster mushrooms, broccoli & shrimp in oyster sauce, chicken in BBQ sauce, and more!
Western section covers main dishes like chicken pie, onion rings, baked potatoes, buttered vegetables, pizza, mussels in cheese, sesame roasted chicken; also, smoked duck, turkey ham cold cuts, salads from the appetizer counter.
Other Asian dishes include Thai fish cake, curry chicken, satay, yong tau fu, prawn curry, briyani rice, prawn vindaloo, murtabak ayam, roti sardin and roti telur.
Had this rather good salmon teriyaki from the Japanese counter. They also have prawn gyoza, fish tempura, prawn tempura, vegetables tempura and soba noodles here.
Get spoilt with the ingredients choices to make your own pasembur rojak! Tahu, cucumber, carrot, senkuang, mango, jambu, papaya, pineapple, etc.- the picture tells.
Fruit tart, chocolate mousse cake, cream puff, chocolate tartlet, cheese cake, swiss rolls, creme brulee, tiramisu, berries tart.Personally feels that dessert is the best among all. Don’t mind paying the same price and revisit just for the sweet treats. Lol.
Overall review: A very reasonably priced weekend hotel buffet in PJ. Plenty to try by paying less than RM100. For such good quality and selections given, the price could have easily doubled up in some other hotels in Klang Valley.
