Crab B Seafood Restaurant @ Puchong Jaya 螃蟹哥哥海鮮飯店

Crab B Restaurant in Puchong Jaya, another outlet by Fei Fei Crab Seafood Restaurant Kepong KL. Seems like we have been a loyal fan of Fei Fei Crab, tracking down each of their shop since their first opening in Kepong, followed by second outlet Crab Generation in Cheras and last week, a visit to their 3rd outlet in Puchong.

The restaurant opened from 5PM through 11PM for dinner. Be there early or be ready to wait. We reached around 5.30PM, managed to get a table within the half occupied dining area. By 6.30PM, B Restaurant was already full house, with tables began stretching out outside the shop to cater more patrons.

Peanut Butter Spanner Crab 花生奶油老虎蟹 Seasonal price

As usual, our feast started with CRAB! First time trying out spanner crab cooked in peanut butter cream sauce.  Super love its photography-worthy look – very cute “face” but the shell is so empty with no crab roe to enjoy. So we stayed to the meaty part, juicy with mild sweetness.

Marmaite Crab, White Pepper Cream Sauce Crab, Salted Egg Yolk Crab, Cheese Crab, Honey Lemon Crab, Spicy & Sour Crab, Kam Heong Crab, Claypot Crab are few other flavours diners can opt for. Believe the claypot version are favourites among regulars, as we saw almost each table has a pot of this.

Claypot Spinach with Egg 瓦煲月光莧菜 RM18

Never know that by adding a raw egg into the spinach and mix it together can enhance the flavour and creaminess. It turns out good.

Thai Style Seafood Platter 泰式海鮮大拼盤 RM88

Our favourite in Crab B Restaurant, as the dish put together fresh squid, fish, prawns and mussels in a bed of tastebud tickling spicy sour sauce.

Western-style Cereal Tofu 西式麥片豆腐 RM15

No, this is not mochi, neither toppings of your injeolmi bingsu. LOL. Something new to us in B Restaurant, with a touch of Western in familiar Chinese tofu dish – A heavy coat of powdery cereal over slightly chewy, compact in texture homemade tofu.
