Noon Viennoiserie & Second Floor: Brunch Cafe x Rooftop Bar in PJ

Noon Viennoiserie and Second Floor in Taman Rasa Sayang, Petaling Jaya – a new venture by the team behind Touche, few doors away from Dou Dou Bake.

Walk in and get welcomed by a beautiful line up of fresh baked goodness and sweet treat – that you will feel like ordering one each. Order from Blueberry Danish, Peach Danish, Croissant, Pain Au Chocolate, Almond Croissant, Spicy Tuna, Beef Pepperoni, Banana Croissant, Sea Salt Kouign Amman, Pan Swirl Roll, Butter Scotch Cake, Chocolate Cake, Banana Pecan Cake, etc..

Beverage option at Noon Viennoiserie is pretty standard. You can have espresso-based coffee, matcha (Ajisai Matcha, akane Houjicha, Rikka Wakoucha), hot tea and seasonal kombucha.

Noon Viennoiserie PJ opens as early as 7.30AM, so if you are staying nearby, it is convenient for grab-and-go pastry on weekdays before work, and have chilling, leisure breakfast or brunch on weekends. For Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday, it is best to visit early, preferably before 10AM. At least this is what we did, and we managed to have some quiet, laid-back moments – slowly enjoying our coffee and pastry before the crowds came in. During our visit, we went to Airplane Mode after that and when we returned during noon thinking to takeaway few croissants,  the cafe is already full house, with a short queue near the counter.  Should have got it earlier.

Main dishes like Nasi Lemak Pasta, Basil Pesto Gnocchi, Chicken Chop, Roasted Cauliflower Salad, Pan Seared Chicken, Lamb Stew, Classic Carbonara, Noon Breakfast, Classic Waffle Benedict, Duck & Waffle, Chili Crab Pasta, Truffle Mushroom Fettuccine, Seasonal Avo Toast, Truffle Mushroom Croque Monsieur are available too.

Ground Coffee x Second Floor

If you pay some attention, you will notice there’s a staircases right before the entrance of Noon Viennoiserie. It will lead you to another interesting F&B concept, located on second floor – hence the name, Second Floor. You can get kombucha on tap, bar snacks, craft beer, cakes, gelato and coffee here. In contrary to Noon which focuses more on brunch cafe-style, Second Floor is a hidden, pet-friendly rooftop bar that opens after 6PM till midnight, offering lively vibes where you get to enjoy specially selected craft beer under the starry sky. But no worries, they do have “non-opened air” seats, just in case it rains and you still feel like visiting for a drink or two. You can also have light food & dessert like truffle fries, korean fried chicken, rum & raisin gelato, dark cherry chocolate gelato, butterscotch cookies, lemon poppy seed cake, pandan gula melaka cake, dark chocolate cake to go with your drinks.
