[Hua Hin 3D2N] Santorini Park at Cha-am/Hua Hin, Thailand

Hua Hin Itinerary Day 1 : Bangkok to Hua Hin by Van from BTS Victoria Monument -> Royal Pavilion Hua Hin Hotel -> Hua Hin Hills Vineyard -> Chatsila & Chatchai Night Market, OK Seafood Restaurant

Hua Hin Itinerary Day 2 : Royal Pavilion Hua Hin Hotel -> Santorini Park -> Swiss Sheep Farm -> Palace of Love & Hope -> Plearn Wan Eco Village -> Sam Phan Nam Floating Market -> Cicada Night Market -> Wilawan Hua Hin Restaurant

Hua Hin Itinerary Day 3 : Hua Hin Railway Station -> Hua Hin Beach -> Back to Bangkok

Santorini Park is one of the hottest tourist attractions in Cha-am/Hua Hin, Thailand. Opening in the month of May 2012, Santorini Park is about 30 minutes drive from Hua Hin, one of the stops you will pass by when you are travelling South from Bangkok, towards Hua Hin.

The theme park is developed by Pene House Group, occupying a spacious area of 80,000 square meter and divided into five different zones- Park Zone, Village Zone, Rest Area, Activity Zone and Weekend Art Market.

The whole park is inspired by architecture in Santorini, the dreamy island city in the Southern Argean Sea, southeast of Greece mainland. Hence, whitewash buildings with blue-painted windows, stone-paved streets bordered with blue, charming ornaments and decorative items are seen everywhere…

In short, means, a lot of photo opportunities!

This goes parallel with the group’s concept, which, nowadays, with cameras in hand, be it mobile devices or camera, we take photos whenever we like to, and share them online. Therefore, the Santorini Park is beautifully designed at all corners, making sure that every inch of space is perfect for photography.

The Park Zone houses a 40 meters high Ferris Wheel with more than 20 cabins….

…double decker carousel imported from Italy..

…G-Max Giant Swing from New Zealand and Wallholla from Netherlands, the winner for Dutch Design Awards 2008 climbing-ride category..

Of course, you need to pay for these rides.

The Village Zone has an impressive selection of both popular brands such as Crocs, Adidas, Nike, Billabong and independent brands, life style products, accessories, souvenirs, clothes, shoes, handmade products..

The Rest Area of Santorini Park covers cafes that offer quick grab of fast food like sandwiches and burgers; coffee, soft drinks, or ice tea to quench the thirst.

We spent about three hours in Santorini Park, just for photos and nothing else, not even stepping into any of the shops. If time allowed, we suggest all to spare one whole day here – shopping, snap photos, take rides, visit haunted house, 3D musuem and other activities that are more than enough to keep you busy and tired by the end of the day.

Out of the many tourist attractions in Cha-am/Hua Hin, we love Santorini Park the most. Definitely must-visit!
